This is a no repeat arm and shoulder workout at home using only a pair of dumbbells and a mat! We will hit shoulders, the biceps and triceps lifting and lowering with control to really tighten the arms, help build shape to upper body and increase strength. I am using 2 x 8kg for your reference! With this upper body dumbbell workout, I do want to highlight afew key points as these are important to safety and also doing the exercise correct! - KEEP KNEES SOFT WHEN PERFORMING STANDING EXERCISES - TRY TO KEEP ELBOWS LOCKED INTO YOUR SIDES WHEN PERFORMING CURLS -KEEP CORE TIGHT THROUGHOUT! The timer will be on for 40 seconds of work, 20 seconds rest! All you will need is your mat and a pair of dumbbells. The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 8kg each. This 15 minute upper body workout is focusing on the shoulders and arms! A perfect workout to improve strength, increase strength and add definition to the shoulders and arms. Of course with upper body exercises, you will be using your core throughout! Keep slight bend at knees and core tight! Try to relax and make sure you breath! During the curls, keep elbows steady locked into sides of torso and try to not let arms fully lock out at bottom of movement. During the dips on the chair, only lower so far is comfortable for you. Please don't put stress on shoulders! Throughout, try your best to lower with control! The exercises are performed for 40 seconds each, followed by 20 seconds rest inbetween. We perform each of the following exercises twice, then onto the next. To finish, we then go into the dips for one set of 40 seconds! SHOULDER PRESS UPRIGHT ROW LATERAL TO FRONTAL SINGLE ARM REAR FLY BICEP CURLS ALTERNATING HAMMER CURLS TRICEP DIAMOND PRESS Please don't rush the reps...take your time and remember quality over quantity. stop as and when you need to to ensure correct form and no straining in lower back or traps. SURPRISE ♥︎ due to the current situation, I decided to NOT wait another 2 weeks until I upload the next workout. And being at home .. I felt like we are in desperate need of an UPPER BODY WORKOUT haha. Because my abs are crying & I don't want to do another jump squat either. / Werbung Upper Body Workouts for arms, back & chest are rare to find & that has a good reason. It's super hard to train them effectively without any additional equipment. I think (fingers crossed) I did a pretty good job with the exercise combination, so we can all get a good burn without doing 10000 push ups in a row. And I actually love the flappy birds exercises so much haha! They really brighten up my mood because I feel like a bird trying to fly. Have fun ♥︎ _ The video is in full length which means you can just follow whatever I’m doing 30s for each exercise. If you need a break - TAKE IT! Don't worry too much about that. You will improve over time :) that's the best feeling! I recommend switching up your workouts to give your muscles enough time to recover and to hit them from different angles.
