Go to wikipedia.org and select the WikiPedia for your desired country. In this video I chose 🤍 2. In the upper-right corner, click “create an account”. Put in all the relevant info such as your username and password. 3. Verify your email and login into your new account. 4. Click on “preferences”, then “editing", and then select "Show me both editor tabs" on the "Editing mode" dropdown menu. 5. Click on "sandbox" in the upper-right corner. This is where you'll be able to make your Wikipedia page. You will be able to write your WikiPedia page in full detail. The first thing you should do is create a heading for your page title. I recommend you use the 'visual editor' since it's more user friendly. The toolbar on top gives you all the tools you need to format your page. You can add citations, references, lists, tables, special characters, internal and external links, and various other effects. This toolbar gives you all the tools to make your Wikipedia page come to life! If you still need help, just go to this link: 🤍 It will teach you and guide you in full detail on how to create your first Wikipedia article. 6. After you written your page, it's time to publish it. You can do this by clicking on the "publish page..." button. This will post your wikipedia page on the sandbox. Which you can then move to the main space. 7. To move your Wikipedia page to the main space you need to meet two requirements. The first one is that you need to have at least a 4-day old account. The second requirement is that you need to have made at least 10 edits with your Wikipedia account. 8. After the page is moved from the sandbox to the main space, you will most likely get plenty of feedback from Wikipedia's community on what can be improved on your page. Your Wikipedia page will most likely not stick on the first try, but don't get discouraged. Just take all the feedback into consideration and try again. 9. If you want to outsource all of this work to a WikiPedia expert, you can do so on Vettted.com You can learn how to create a link from Wikipedia by watching this video: 🤍

In this video on Wikipedia Best Practices, Stella Yu discusses the 5 important Wikipedia tips you, or your brand manager, can do to improve your Wikipedia Page. Wikipedia Tip #1: Organize your third party media clippings Wikipedia Tip #2: Disclose any Conflict-of-Interest you may have with this Wikipedia, because it’s required. If you edit the page, without disclosing your conflicts, you risk being blocked from accessing your Wikipedia page Wikipedia Tip #3: Connect with the Wikipedia Community, which is made up of volunteer editors. If you state on the Wikipedia Talk page that you are there to highlight inaccuracies and that you are able to provide reference links to the accurate information from third party media clippings, the Wikipedia community will likely be receptive to your help. Wikipedia articles have different types of page protection. We look a the most commonly found types of protection found on articles. The most common types of page protection are semi-protection and extended confirmed protection. Each type of protection requires registered users to have met a minimum contribution threshold before a registered user can edit. This is to prevent spam in the form of unregistered users and new users creating accounts for unconstructive editing. Wikipedia Editing Basics 🤍 #Wikipedia

I love Wikipedia! I even donated to it. But I won't donate again, now that I've learned how BIASED Wikipedia has become. ———— To make sure you see the new weekly video from Stossel TV, sign up here: 🤍 ———— No right-leaning outlets, Fox News Politics, the Daily Wire, the Daily Caller, etc… is considered “reliable” by Wikipedia. None. But even some of the most extreme leftist outlets get a "reliable" badge like “Jacobin," a self-described SOCIALIST outlet. Vox, Buzzfeed News, and Slate are also deemed “reliable” by Wikipedia. Editors may base stories on their reporting. Why did Wikipedia become so biased? Veteran Wikipedian Jonathan Weiss tells me that the site, like academia, has been captured by leftists. Some Wikipedia administrators even brag on their profiles, "this user is a socialist." Another put up images idolizing communist murderers Che Guevara and Vladimir Lenin. These administrators make final decisions about what counts as “reliable," and what goes on Wikipedia. That’s why for years, Wiki's "communism" page made NO mention of the millions killed by that ideology. US border facilities are listed under "concentration camps,” on the same page as Wikipedia’s holocaust facilities. Can we fix this? Wikipedia is supposed to be a site that "anyone can edit," so I made an edit. You can find out what happened in the video above.
This video is just for educational purpose. I created my friend's wiki biography with his permission. Please don't use this video for other purpose.
Wikipedia has a hierarchy system for managing editors, editing permissions and page protection. Page protection limits editing to editor who are members of specific groups. Editors are placed into one of six different groups, each with their own editing permissions and tools. You can advance based on your editing history and community engagement in talk pages. Advancement to the top user group is extremely rare. The first group "new user" is how readers, IP users, and newly registered users are grouped. Only the most basic editing tools are available. Once a simple editing history has been established, then the user is automatically entered into the "autoconfirmed" user group. This allows access to most of the editing tools you need to edit. The next level, extended confirmed, only grants access to editing access to "extended confirmed" protected pages. The final three levels, administrator, bureaucrat and steward require nomination, demonstration of editing and communication skills, and a Wikipedia community vote to be entered into one of these access groups. In addition to the user groups, there are extra permissions that can be granted to a user by the community if the editor requests it or is nominated for the permission and then approved by the community. Notes: *Some of the art in this video is generated with AI technology. All member figure data is from December 2022 - January 2023. Some variability occurs in the administrator group. Wikipedia is often portrayed as an a-hierarchical, spontaneous, open-collaboration movement. These treats are definitely common for Wikipedia, yet it also does have a darker side. For a movement which despises hierarchies and structures, it is extremely over-regulated: the number of regulatory documents on English Wikipedia exceeds 400,000 words, and the bureaucratic creed is way out of control. Also, for a movement relying so much on collaboration, Wikipedia is a surprisingly solitary and conflict-driven community. In the presentation I am going to show how overregulation and conflicts actually help Wikipedia grow. Seminar organized by the IN3 research group Open Science and Innovation.
